1/10/24 Jazz Cabaret Reminders

Band Families:

   We are approaching our Jazz Cabaret Performance this Friday 1/12 at 7:30PM. We are excited to share our music with you and will be hosting all four of our jazz ensembles as well as Glacier Creek Middle School. We will not need the previously scheduled dress rehearsal on Thursday 1/11 with the exception of Seven O'Clock who will rehearse directly after school on Thursday.

Report times for the Friday 1/12 concert for each ensemble can be seen below:

Students should arrive in all-black concert dress on stage in the PAC at the time below

1/3/24 Galin Education Event 1/4/24 Final Reminder

Hello Everyone,

We wanted to send out one final reminder to people about the upcoming event held at MHS on January 4th @ 7pm (tomorrow) where Zach Galin, president of Galin Education will be talking about how band, orchestra, and choir can be used in the college admissions process. The event is designed for non-music and music majors in order to help students and families understand and optimize music classes and their time in high school to best prepare them for college. There will be opportunities for questions and a layout of how to prepare for modern college admissions. MHS music teachers will also be present to assist with any music specific questions. Students and families are strongly encouraged to attend and rsvp at this link.
