Hello band families,
Please double check your students' bedrooms, closets, basements, etc. Return all school-owned instruments, brass mutes (including those blue plunger mutes for jazz), and other equipment.
All school-owned equipment must be checked in by Monday, 5/30.
- If you do not need it over the long weekend, you will leave it after class on Thursday or Friday.
- If you need it over the weekend, you will leave it on Monday afternoon after the Memorial Day performances.
- If you need need it over the weekend but are not performing on Memorial Day, plan to drop it off between 8:00 and 9:00am on Monday 5/30.

School-owned instruments can be checked out starting Wednesday, 6/1 after school, pending availability.
- No fee for summer rentals.
- Must be enrolled in MHS bands for the fall.

Hello band families,
Here is all the information for our upcoming Memorial Day performances. This is also posted in Google Classroom (along with the assignment if you're not participating in the performances). See you Monday!
Schedule for the day:
8:00 Report to MHS for warm up and rehearsal
9:00 Buses depart for Community of Ashton
9:30 Ceremony at St. Peter's cemetery
10:00 Snacks and depart for Park Elementary in Cross Plains
11:00 Parade begins
12:00 Ceremony at American Legion Hall in Cross Plains
12:30 Ceremony ends, lunch provided
~1:15 Buses depart back to MHS
What to wear:
Closed-toe shoes
Short athletic socks
Shorts (preferably non-athletic shorts: khaki, navy, etc. Nothing loud or shiny)
Middleton shirt of some kind
Please do not wear the marching band show shirt from any year
If you don't own any middleton gear, wear a white, black, or red shirt
Shirt should cover your midriff.
What to bring:
Instrument
Music in a flip folder (extra flip folders available)
Lyre (music holder) for your instrument
Sunscreen if needed
Water bottle (can be left on the bus)
Food optional (Snack provided, usually granola bars and bottled water. Lunch provided, usually something like hot dogs, chips, soda. If you have dietary preferences, consider packing food.)
If you play a school instrument:
You will need to leave your instrument at MHS after the performance.
If you need to be picked up in Cross Plains (not riding the bus back):
Fill out the alternative transportation form on MyPaymentsPlus (same as for MHS sports)
