Talk on College Admissions for Non-Music & Music Majors

As you're thinking about course selections in the coming weeks, you may have questions about how your classes play a role in college admissions! Please join Zach Galin, president of Galin Education and college admissions counselor, and our very own Douglas Brown as they talk through how participation in band, orchestra, and choir can be leveraged in the college admissions process for music and non-music majors. Hello band families, Get ready and excited for our solo & ensemble festival next week Saturday! 1. Draft Schedule of Events Please check the schedule to ensure that all of your information is accurate. Please email Mr. V with any corrections. Schedule changes are tricky but possible and usually involve finding someone to switch with. 2. Accompanist Schedule All school accompanists are now scheduled for next week. 3. Parent Volunteers Parents, we need a handful of volunteers, particularly to serve as room monitors on the day of the event. Please sign up for a shift! 4. Student Volunteers Students: we will need volunteers for setup and cleanup, as well as some tasks during the event. Stay tuned next week during class! 5. MyPaymentsPlus We hope to have the registration fees available soon on MyPaymentsPlus (it's a bit of a process with the district). Mr. V
