Middleton High School Concert Band Invitational -
Get excited for our big large group festival on March 23rd! This is our major performance for 3rd quarter and a culminating event for the music we are currently working on.
What: MHS is hosting a large group festival - think solo & ensemble or a marching band competition but for concert band. There will be three judges giving ratings, plus an awesome guest clinician, Dr. Cheldon Williams. Dr. Williams will also be working with the bands on Monday and Tuesday of next week.
Who: All of the MHS bands will perform throughout the day, along with bands from a handful of other schools around the state.
When: Wednesday, March 23rd
Cardinal Band/Percussion: come to the PAC after lunch, miss advisory/7th/ASR
Concert Band: come to the PAC after block 5, miss 6th/advisory/7th
Symphonic Winds: eat early lunch (11:32-12:02) and then come to the PAC, miss advisory/7th/ASR. *Done at 5:30pm*
Chamber Wind Ensemble: come to the PAC at the beginning of the day, miss 5th/6th/advisory *Bring a lunch*
Dress Code: Dress like it's a concert -- 10th-12th graders wear all black, 9th graders "dress nice"
Note: Unfortunately, the event is closed to visitors this year, but we will be recording the performances.
